Role Description

The Prose Train’s Project Manager will manage ongoing short story projects. This is a high-responsibility/high-commitment position with small amounts of daily work and concentrated work that is deadline driven.

Note: we expect to have more Project Managers as we expand, with each managing 1-3 projects at a time.

Responsibilities

• Set up new projects by updating our website and importing new sign-ups to Google Contacts.
• Send out emails with forms and story documents.
• Approve writing daily and follow up with writers on scheduling.
• Publish edited stories on our website.
• Work closely with writers and other team members to reach deadlines.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Prior participation in 2+ Prose Train projects
• Willingness to ask questions

No experience is necessary, though a willingness to learn new skills and processes is vital!
